Recently, Senator Barack Obama was questioned by Joe Wurzelbacher (Joe the Plumber) about his tax plan. Part of Senator Obama's reply was, "I think that when we spread the wealth around, it's good for everybody." I am going to assume he means what he says and he should be taken at his word. He now has the perfect opportunity to practice what he preaches and show, unequivocally, that his new tax plan will work and be good for everyone. So here is what I propose:
Senator Obama, please put your money where your mouth is. You have been busy campaigning and worked very hard to raise an unprecedented amount of money for your campaign. You have so much money that you can outspend Senator McCain's campaign by five to one, and in some states by an even higher ratio. You should spread your wealth around and give some of your campaign funds to Senator McCain's campaign. You said it was good for everybody, so what better way to prove this fundamental economic theory than to implement it right now in your own life and with your own campaign. You are asking the American people to accept this idea of shared wealth and we all know that actions speak louder than words. Let us see in you, as prospective leader of the Free World, take action now and spread your wealth.
